Mercedes-Benz CLA Kicks Off ‘Class of Creators’ with Ice Spice in Bold Artistic Debut
The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA marks a dynamic new chapter in electric and digital mobility, launching not just as a next-gen vehicle but as a cultural canvas.
Following its world premiere in Rome, the CLA made a striking artistic debut in New York as part of the ‘Class of Creators’—a global collaboration with five unique creatives spanning music, design, fashion, gaming, and toys.
Kicking off the campaign, Ice Spice unveiled her custom CLA artwork during the grand opening of the newly renovated Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan.

The Grammy-nominated artist transformed the vehicle with her signature molten chrome finish, diamond-studded “Princess of Rap” details, and announced a matching limited fashion capsule featuring hoodies and tees in black and pastel tones.

As a native New Yorker and rising icon, Ice Spice perfectly embodies the spirit of this initiative focused on creativity and empowerment.
‘Class of Creators’ brings together a diverse lineup of visionaries: Ice Spice, Swedish designer Gustaf Westman, fashion and art disruptor KidSuper (Colm Dillane), the globally beloved brand Hot Wheels, and gaming giant League of Legends.

Each will reimagine the CLA through their own lens, creating one-of-a-kind art pieces and complementary collections that will be revealed through exclusive events throughout 2025.

The Manhattan launch event drew 350 guests, blending innovation, performance, and New York flair with performances from Broadway’s Hell’s Kitchen cast and DJ sets by Brooklyn-based artist LPX. Next in the series, Gustaf Westman’s CLA reveal is set for May 22, followed by KidSuper on June 28. Additional events will be announced later this year.
Mercedes-Benz positions the CLA as its most intelligent, efficient production car to date—and now, as a creative platform for cultural connection.
