The Exhibition: A Glimpse Into Tomorrow
Visitors to the ADI Design Museum are greeted with three standout innovations that define XPENG’s forward-looking ethos. Making its Italian premiere, the XPENG P7+, touted as the world’s first AI-defined electric sedan, sets the tone for a new era in autonomous driving.
Alongside it, XPENG reveals the AEROTH X2, a flying electric car that has already captured international attention with its Gold Prize win at the China Excellent Industrial Design Awards. Designed for vertical take-off and landing, the AEROTH X2 represents a transformative step toward urban aerial mobility.
Rounding out the trio of technological marvels is the IRON humanoid robot, making its European debut. This next-gen robot, developed with a focus on human-like movement and AI integration, highlights XPENG’s wider ambitions that stretch beyond electric vehicles into robotics and intelligent systems.
XPENG in Europe: Scaling Smart Mobility
XPENG’s showcase in Milan signals more than just a design statement—it marks the brand’s deepening commitment to the European market. Since entering Norway in 2021, XPENG has rapidly expanded its footprint across major European countries. In Q1 2025 alone, the company delivered over 94,000 vehicles globally, a 300% year-over-year increase, underscoring its accelerating momentum.

In Italy, XPENG’s presence becomes official this June with the arrival of two flagship models: the XPENG G6 and XPENG G9 electric SUVs. These vehicles will be imported and distributed exclusively by ATFLOW, an Italian firm deeply rooted in the country’s mobility sector. According to Mattia Vanini, President of ATFLOW, the partnership represents a pivotal moment for sustainable innovation in the Italian auto landscape.
A Marriage of AI, Design, and Heritage
XPENG’s Milan debut was more than a product launch—it was a philosophical statement on how technology and design can coexist harmoniously. “Italy is the cradle of automotive culture and design.
There’s no better place to present the future of mobility,” said Brian Gu, Vice Chairman and President of XPENG. He emphasized the company’s multi-dimensional innovation strategy, combining hardware, software, and AI, while also advancing aerial vehicle and robotics technologies.

JuanMa Lopez, Vice President of XPENG’s Design Center, echoed this sentiment, stressing how XPENG’s aesthetic values are rooted in functionality, fluidity, and emotional connection—principles that align perfectly with Italy’s design legacy.
