The legendary rock star was the very first owner of the DB7, who bought it for £80,000.
At the request of Sir Elton John, the motor was delivered to him with a British racing green paintwork exterior over a light tan leather interior.

The 78-year-old also had the vehicle equipped with a Motorola car phone.
The motor is also kitted out with a six-stack CD changer and a remote controlled Alpine stereo and amplifier.

Both front seats have a heated feature.
The Aston Martin is now heading to a new home with just 14,500 miles on the clock.

Kitted out with an impressive 3239cc DOHC straight-six engine, the car possesses a whopping 335 brake horsepower.
The DB7 can go from 0 to 50 in just 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 165mph.
The 30-year-old motor was snapped up last week (9 Apr) at the Classic Motorcars auction in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

H&H Classics, who hosted the sale, said: “Styled by Ian Callum and introduced at the March 1993 Geneva Salon, the DB7 has long been regarded as a modern masterpiece.
“With just c.14,500 miles from new, this low mileage and pampered DB7, boasting previous celebrity ownership, is accompanied by the original warranty card in Sir Elton’s name along with a copy of its first V5 document.”
