BMW Motorrad has launched the new R 1300 R, a sharper, more dynamic evolution of its iconic roadster. With a completely redesigned engine and chassis, the latest model packs 145 hp from a 1,300 cc boxer engine—making it the most powerful production boxer in BMW’s history.
The new R 1300 R pairs sporty agility with touring comfort. Featuring a compact new steel main frame and die-cast aluminium rear, the roadster is lighter, stiffer, and more responsive.

A revised ergonomic triangle offers improved front-end feedback and a more aggressive riding stance, without compromising long-distance comfort.
Four versions are available: the standard model in Snapper Rocks metallic, Exclusive in Racing blue metallic, sporty Performance in Lightwhite uni, and the high-end Option 719 Kilauea in Blackstorm metallic.

Advanced electronics include standard LED lighting, Integral ABS Pro, and three ride modes—Rain, Road, and Eco—with optional Dynamic and Dynamic Pro via the “Riding Modes Pro” package. Engine drag torque control (MSR) is also standard, helping stabilize the bike during sudden downshifts.

An optional automated shift assistant (ASA) enables clutch-free manual or fully automatic gear changes. Suspension tech reaches new heights with optional Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA), offering the first telescopic fork with adjustable spring rate on a production motorcycle.

Additional touring features include multiple seat heights, a new strapless tank bag, and electrified side cases with interior lighting and USB-C ports.
Tech-savvy riders can add Adaptive Turning Light, Active Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, and electric navigation unlock for extra convenience and safety.

Designed for performance, packed with innovation, and built for the road—BMW’s R 1300 R sets a new benchmark in the roadster class.
