A custom-made hearse in the form of a cramped Nissan Leaf has hit the market.
The 2016 electric hatchback has been revamped into a makeshift coffin car.

A full charge on the motor can allow the eco-hearse to do 100 miles and reach 89mph.
The front passenger seat and the seat behind have been removed to make way for a 6.5ft casket.
The driver will be situated next to the coffin with room in the back for a loved one, as reported by Luxury Auto News.

The passenger side doors have been replaced with a custom sheet of glass for passers-by to see through and pay their respects.
The deck also allows for the coffin to be tilted slightly to offer a better view out of the window.

The nine-year-old Nissan has just 17,540 miles on the clock.
The bespoke vehicle is finished in a professional silver exterior.
The electric motor is now up for sale on eBay for £12,500.

The buyer will receive charging connectors, manuals and an MOT certificate valid until April 2026.
Brahms Electric Vehicles converted the Nissan into an eco-hearse.

Classic Cars Direct, who is selling the motor, stated: “A greener and more ECO way of conducting funerals.
