Starting April 8th, Lancia is enhancing its New Ypsilon lineup with two key updates that strengthen its position in the premium hatchback B-segment—without raising prices.
The Ypsilon Electric now offers up to 425 km of range (WLTP), thanks to a more efficient powertrain and improved battery chemistry.

The 54 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, paired with a 115 kW (156 hp) motor, delivers a 6% range increase—22 km more than before—while maintaining an average consumption of just 14.3 kWh/100 km. Fast-charging is equally efficient, reaching 80% in under 30 minutes via a 100 kW DC station.
The Ypsilon Hybrid also sees a crucial update in its stated performance: now rated at 110 hp combined output instead of just 100 hp from the combustion engine.
This aligns with upcoming Euro 7 regulations, which will require hybrids to declare total system output from both combustion and electric units.
The new figure reflects the unchanged 74 kW combustion engine and 21 kW electric motor within its 48V system, offering customers clearer, more future-proof specs.
Together, these upgrades reinforce Lancia’s commitment to sustainable, accessible, and transparent urban mobility—delivering both elegant design and next-gen performance across electric and hybrid models.
