PEUGEOT is enhancing its best-selling electric model, the E-208, with a set of upgrades that boost its performance, practicality, and efficiency.

After topping the electric B-segment charts in France and across Europe in 2024, the E-208 now offers the best range in its class, improved driving support, and added flexibility with Vehicle to Load (V2L) capability.

The upgraded E-208 with the 156 hp (115 kW) powertrain now reaches up to 433 km of range (WLTP), a 23 km improvement that cements its status as the most efficient vehicle on the European market—an accolade reaffirmed by the 2024 ADAC Ecotest.

To help drivers plan more efficient trips, PEUGEOT introduces a Trip Planner function integrated with its connected navigation system (available as an option).

It calculates optimal routes by factoring in battery levels, destination distance, terrain, speed, traffic, and nearby charging stations. The system also now includes an 80% charge limit setting to help extend battery life in daily use.

The new V2L pre-installation enables drivers to power external devices—such as e-bikes or portable lighting—directly from the car’s high-voltage battery using an optional bidirectional adapter (3.5 kW, 16A), available at PEUGEOT dealerships.

Other upgrades to the full 208 range include:

  • A new multifunction video camera that improves automatic emergency braking by enhancing detection of cyclists and pedestrians.
  • A fresh body color option, Okenite White, replacing Ice White.
  • Updated naming for hybrid variants: the HYBRID 100 hp and HYBRID 136 hp are now known as HYBRID 110 hp and HYBRID 145 hp, reflecting total combined power from their petrol engine and electric motor, in anticipation of Euro 7 regulations.

All variants of the PEUGEOT 208 continue to offer sharp styling, the intuitive PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, and a complete range of powertrains: Petrol (100 hp), Hybrid (110 hp and 145 hp), and Electric (136 hp and 156 hp). These latest enhancements aim to solidify the E-208’s position as a leader in the electric compact segment.
