Subaru of America achieved its best-ever sales month in March 2025, delivering 71,478 vehicles—a 16.6% increase over March 2024 and surpassing its previous record set in August 2019.
This milestone also marked the automaker’s 32nd consecutive month of sales growth. First-quarter sales climbed to 166,957 units, up 9.1% compared to the same period last year.
The Forester led the pack with 22,570 units sold, its strongest month on record. The Crosstrek followed with its best-ever March at 18,169 units, up 25.1%.

Outback sales also surged 29.9%, totaling 17,539. Other models including the BRZ, Impreza, Legacy, and Solterra also posted year-over-year gains, with Solterra sales soaring 158.7%.
Company executives credited the achievement to Subaru’s focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Consumer Reports recently named Subaru the top mainstream and most reliable automotive brand, recommending eight of its models for 2025.
Subaru leadership praised the dedication of its retail network and manufacturing teams, emphasizing the brand’s continued momentum and strong customer trust heading into the rest of the year.
