Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has delivered a series of all-female STEAM workshops at Davison CE High School for Girls, as part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and developing future talent.
The sessions, led by Rolls-Royce apprentices and interns, aimed to inspire young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The workshops, created in partnership with the charity Mathematics Education Innovation (MEI), demonstrated how maths is used daily in luxury manufacturing.

They were led by former Davison student and current Rolls-Royce apprentice Fleur Macmillan, with support from intern Jess Burcombe, providing real-world insight into STEAM career pathways.
Headteacher Chris Keating praised the initiative, highlighting the value of industry partnerships in preparing students for diverse career opportunities.

Rolls-Royce HR Director Mark Adams noted the programme’s role in increasing female participation in the company’s Future Talent Programme.
Applications for the 2025 Rolls-Royce Apprenticeships remain open until 31 March, offering a variety of roles from GCSE-level to degree-equivalent qualifications.
