Cadillac is expanding its Escalade lineup with the introduction of the all-electric 2026 Escalade IQL, offering greater passenger and cargo capacity while maintaining the luxury and performance the nameplate is known for.
Built on Cadillac’s EV-specific platform, the Escalade IQL joins the Escalade IQ to provide an all-electric alternative to the brand’s iconic full-size SUV.
“Escalade has been the best-selling luxury full-size SUV in North America since 2014,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “With the Escalade IQL, Cadillac now offers both internal combustion and all-electric Escalade options, meeting the needs of all customers.”

Spacious, Tech-Forward Design
The Escalade IQL features a longer silhouette than the Escalade IQ, increasing third-row legroom by over four inches and adding more rear cargo space.
A 12.2-cubic-foot eTrunk provides secure front storage. Inside, the cabin offers luxurious materials and advanced technology, including an available Executive Second Row package with:
- Stowable tray tables and 12.6-inch personal screens
- Dual wireless phone charging pads
- Massaging, heated, and ventilated seats with 14-way power adjustment and headrest speakers
A curved 55-inch total diagonal display spans the dashboard, delivering a high-tech infotainment experience with voice control, navigation, and dedicated Escalade IQL graphics. Other key features include:
- Seating for up to seven passengers with a power-folding third row
- Standard 21-speaker AKG Studio audio system, with an optional 42-speaker setup
- Dolby Atmos® sound processing for immersive audio
- Standard Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance for three years
- 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability and in-vehicle streaming apps
- Vehicle-to-home (V2H) bidirectional charging, allowing energy transfer from the vehicle to a properly equipped home
Powerful Electric Performance
The Escalade IQL delivers 460 miles of estimated range, with DC fast charging adding up to 116 miles in just 10 minutes. Powered by a 24-module, 205 kWh GM battery, it boasts:
- 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque with Velocity Max mode
- 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds
- 7,500-pound towing capacity
- Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive suspension for smooth handling
- Independent front and rear suspension with 24-inch wheels and 35-inch tires
A Strong Future for Escalade
The Escalade IQL will be available in Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport trims, starting at $132,695 including destination charges. Production begins in mid-2025 at GM’s Factory ZERO in Detroit.
