Toyota Motor Corporation has unveiled its third-generation fuel cell system (3rd Gen FC System), marking another step toward a hydrogen-powered future.
Designed primarily for commercial vehicles, the new system offers diesel-like durability, improved fuel efficiency, and lower costs compared to its predecessor.
Beyond passenger cars, Toyota plans to expand the technology to heavy-duty commercial vehicles, with market rollouts expected in Japan, Europe, North America, and China starting as early as 2026.
