At the third edition of E-LION DAY, Alain Favey, newly appointed CEO of PEUGEOT, outlined the brand’s vision for 2025, emphasizing performance, electrification, and sustainability.
With the widest EV lineup among mainstream brands, PEUGEOT is reinforcing its ambition to lead the European EV market, offering customers a range of electrified solutions, from hybrid to fully electric SUVs and light commercial vehicles.
“In 2025, we are definitely in performance mode,” Favey stated, highlighting a commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility.

Expanding PEUGEOT’s EV Lineup
In 2024, PEUGEOT sold nearly 1.1 million vehicles globally, doubling its EV orders and becoming the fastest-growing EV brand in Europe. The new 3008 exceeded 120,000 orders, with 22% of sales being fully electric E-3008s.
For 2025, PEUGEOT will expand its 12-model electric lineup, introducing:
- E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motor AWD (325 hp, powered by front and rear electric motors).
- New 5-seater E-5008, offering a segment-leading 994L boot space, increasing to 2310L with seats folded.
This triple SUV lineup caters to different customer needs:
- PEUGEOT 3008 – A dynamic fastback SUV focused on design and technology.
- PEUGEOT 5008 5-seat – A large SUV with increased cargo space for families.
- PEUGEOT 5008 7-seat – A flexible SUV for those needing extra passenger capacity.
Efficiency and Performance
PEUGEOT leads in EV efficiency, with:
- E-3008 and E-5008 Long Range models offering up to 700 km and 668 km of range, respectively.
- Battery preheating technology, linked to cabin heating, optimizing charging time in cold weather.
For customers transitioning to electrification, PEUGEOT provides:
- Hybrid 48V system (136 hp petrol engine + electric motor), reducing fuel consumption by 15% and allowing 50% electric driving in urban settings.
- Plug-in hybrids, available across the 308, 408, 508, 3008, and 5008, offering 87 km electric range with 0.9L/100 km fuel consumption.
Enhancing the Electric Experience
PEUGEOT is addressing key EV concerns—range, charging, accessibility, and reliability—through the PEUGEOT ELECTRIC PROMISE, which includes:
- 8-year/160,000 km warranty on both the vehicle and battery.
- Wall Box home charger included.
- Access to nearly one million charging points across Europe via Free2Move Charge Pass.
- Flexible financing solutions to support EV adoption.
Commitment to Education and Sustainability
PEUGEOT continues its environmental commitment through partnerships with Born Free and Under The Pole:
- Supplying Landtrek pickups to Born Free for wildlife conservation in Kenya.
- Supporting Under The Pole’s marine research and education initiatives, promoting sustainability in automotive and scientific fields.
Towards a Sustainable Future
Aligned with Stellantis’ Carbon Net Zero goal, PEUGEOT is reducing its environmental footprint by:
- Using 60% decarbonized electricity in its factories, targeting 100% by 2030.
- Incorporating 85% recyclable materials in the E-3008, including:
- 40% recycled content in dashboards and carpets.
- 24% total recycled materials throughout the vehicle.
