Harrison Ford Stars in Jeep’s Big Game Commercial, “Owner’s Manual”
Harrison Ford made a surprise appearance in Jeep’s Big Game commercial, a two-minute film titled “Owner’s Manual”, which aired during the Super Bowl.
The ad, directed by Academy Award-nominated James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny), was a closely guarded secret until its reveal.

“Owner’s Manual” takes a philosophical approach, with Ford reflecting on life’s choices. “People don’t get an owner’s manual like cars do, so choose what makes you happy,” Ford says in the ad. “My friends, my family, my work make me happy.
This Jeep makes me happy… even though my name is Ford. That’s my owner’s manual. Get out there. Write your own.”

Stellantis, the only automaker with commercials in this year’s Super Bowl, featured both Jeep and Ram Trucks.
The ad highlights Jeep’s adventure-driven brand ethos, while also promoting its growing EV lineup, including the all-electric Grand Wagoneer S, which has just launched in the U.S. and Canada, with a European debut planned by Q1 2026.

Jeep Global CMO Olivier Francois, known for his big-budget Super Bowl ads, described the film as a quiet, reflective piece that stands out amid typical high-energy game-day commercials. “We wanted to create something intimate and meaningful, consistent with Jeep’s history of inspiring adventure,” said Francois.
Ford, meanwhile, was drawn to the ad’s simplicity. “It’s a straightforward message about life,” he said. “No gimmicks—just a quiet talk from someone sharing an idea. I loved how it developed.”

Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf noted the perfect synergy between the brand and Ford. “In film, Harrison Ford has traveled across galaxies in pursuit of adventure, and in real life, he blazes his own trail. He understands exactly what Jeep is about.”
Set to the original score “Go Anywhere” by Nathaniel Murphy, the ad reflects Jeep’s 80-year legacy of freedom, adventure, and resilience. It also highlights the brand’s long-standing relationship with the USO, reinforcing Jeep’s status as America’s Most Patriotic Brand for 23 consecutive years.
With this memorable Super Bowl moment, Jeep reaffirms its bold, adventurous spirit, proving that happiness is found on the road less traveled.
