Marking three decades of quality, innovation, and versatility, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025 with a special edition model and a historic milestone of five million units sold.
Since its launch in 1995, the Sprinter has redefined the light commercial vehicle segment, setting standards in safety, technology, and adaptability.

Key Milestones
- 1995: Launched as the first Mercedes-Benz van with a name, introducing disc brakes, ABS, and optional airbags.
- 2006: Second-generation Sprinter debuts with ESP® standard, an air suspension option, and BlueEFFICIENCY technology.

Mercedes-Benz Museum Tribute
From February 4 to March 30, the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart will showcase the first-generation Sprinter, the latest Sprinter, and the eSprinter. Visitors will receive a special anniversary gift with ticket purchases, and a pop-up store will offer limited-edition Sprinter merchandise.
