BMW enhances its lineup for spring 2025 with improved electric range, new engine options, upgraded features, and faster charging for plug-in hybrids across multiple models.

BMW is rolling out significant updates across its lineup for spring 2025, including improved electric efficiency, new engine variants, enhanced standard equipment, and faster charging for plug-in hybrids.

The all-electric BMW i5 sedan and touring models now feature new power electronics, silicon carbide semiconductor components, and low-rolling-resistance tyres, increasing range by up to 47 km (29 miles).

BMW Unveils Key Model Updates for Spring 2025.

Standard features across all BMW 5 Series models now include ambient lighting with the BMW Interaction Bar, lumbar support for front seats, and a Harman Kardon HiFi system.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé expands with two new variants: the entry-level BMW 216 Gran Coupé with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine (122 hp) and the BMW 223 xDrive Gran Coupé, which integrates a mild-hybrid system with 218 hp and all-wheel drive.

Meanwhile, the BMW X3 lineup gains a powerful new 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine in the X3 40d xDrive, delivering 303 hp and 670 Nm of torque.

BMW Unveils Key Model Updates for Spring 2025.

Plug-in hybrid models, including the BMW X1, 2 Series Active Tourer, 7 Series, and XM, benefit from an increased AC charging rate of 11 kW, significantly reducing charging times. The BMW Digital Key Plus will become standard on the BMW iX, allowing smartphone-based vehicle access with up to 18 digital keys.

Additional updates include the introduction of the new Tyre Repair Kit Plus for selected models, standard adaptive LED headlights for the BMW X5 and X6, and expanded digital services such as YouTube integration and improved BMW Maps functionality.

With these upgrades, BMW continues to refine its lineup, blending innovation, efficiency, and luxury to enhance the driving experience.
