BMW has unveiled an upgraded version of its all-electric iX, delivering improved performance, an extended range, and refined design elements. The new BMW iX now boasts a WLTP range of up to 701 km (435 miles), marking a significant leap in efficiency and setting a new benchmark in the segment.
With advancements in BMW eDrive technology and optimised power electronics, the iX xDrive60 sees a range increase of approximately 60 km (37 miles), aided by an 8% improvement in energy consumption.

The model lineup, available from spring 2025, includes the iX xDrive45, iX xDrive60, and the high-performance iX M70 xDrive, with power outputs ranging from 300 kW (408 hp) to 485 kW (659 hp). The top-tier M70 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
The refreshed exterior features a redesigned BMW kidney grille, new adaptive LED headlights, and an optional M Sport package for a more dynamic look.
The interior maintains its focus on progressive luxury, with new M multifunction seats, premium materials, and advanced digital services powered by BMW iDrive and Operating System 8.5.
Charging efficiency has also been enhanced, with the iX xDrive45 now supporting DC fast charging at up to 175 kW, reducing charging times. The model retains its production base at BMW’s Dingolfing plant, a hub for premium electric vehicle manufacturing.
With its combination of luxury, performance, and technological innovation, the new BMW iX cements its status as a leader in the electric SAV segment.
