BMW Motorrad achieved a historic milestone in 2024, selling 210,408 motorcycles worldwide, marking its best year ever. Germany, the brand’s largest market, led robust sales across Europe, the U.S., Asia, and Latin America.
Europe accounted for 118,727 units, with Germany contributing 26,177 (up 8%). Other key markets included France (20,693), Italy (16,617), and Spain (13,009). Growth in Central Europe reached 12%, with 11,411 units sold. Outside Europe, the U.S. (17,272), Brazil (15,267), China (13,872), and India (8,301) made significant contributions.

Best-selling models included flagship boxer motorcycles, such as the BMW R 1300 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure, with over 68,000 units sold globally. High-performance models like the BMW S 1000 RR continued to dominate the super-sport segment, recording 27,147 sales.
In the middle-class segment, the renewed F-series sold 40,890 units, while the sub-500cc BMW G 310 lineup reached 22,339 sales. Urban mobility options, including the CE 04 and CE 02 electric models, added over 20,000 units.
Markus Flasch, Head of BMW Motorrad, credited innovation and a diverse product range, including new models like the M 1000 XR and R 12 NineT, for the brand’s success. Looking ahead, BMW Motorrad plans further growth in 2025 through new models, premieres, and customer-focused initiatives.
