Hyundai Motor America has appointed Claudia Márquez as its new chief operating officer. In this role, Márquez will oversee U.S. sales, distribution, product line management, and aftersales activities, with a focus on driving growth, enhancing dealer relations, and elevating the customer experience.
Reporting to Randy Parker, CEO of Hyundai and Genesis Motor North America, she will lead customer-focused strategies to strengthen Hyundai’s market presence.
“Claudia’s proven leadership and expertise in brand growth make her the ideal choice to guide Hyundai’s U.S. operations,” said Parker.

Márquez brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as COO of Genesis Motor North America, where she helped the luxury brand achieve record sales and expand its retail network.
Prior to Genesis, she served as CEO of Hyundai Motor Mexico, delivering increased sales and brand visibility. Her industry experience also includes leadership roles with Nissan, Infiniti, BMW, and MINI across Latin America.
Hyundai Motor America continues to drive innovation and growth in the U.S., contributing significantly to the economy through its operations, dealers, and workforce.
