The BMW Group achieved significant growth in 2024, delivering 426,594 fully-electric vehicles (BEVs), marking a 13.5% year-over-year increase. BEVs accounted for 17.4% of total sales, as the company expanded its electrified portfolio across BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce brands.
BMW led the charge with 368,523 BEV deliveries (+11.6%), while MINI saw a 24.3% surge, delivering 56,181 fully-electric units. Rolls-Royce also made strides, delivering 1,890 BEVs—a remarkable 479.6% increase. Total electrified vehicle sales, including plug-in hybrids, reached 593,215, representing 24.2% of BMW Group’s global sales.

“Despite challenging market conditions, the BMW Group continues to grow its fully-electric vehicle sales, supported by a strong product lineup and rising demand, especially in Europe,” said Jochen Goller, BMW AG Board Member.
Mixed Results Across Regions
Global deliveries totaled 2,450,804 vehicles in 2024 (-4%), with BEVs driving growth in key markets. Europe recorded 947,235 sales (+0.6%), fueled by strong BEV demand in Italy, France, and the UK. The Americas also saw growth, with U.S. deliveries rising 6.5% to 397,652 vehicles. However, subdued demand in China led to a 13.4% decline in the region.
BMW M GmbH set a new record with 206,582 vehicles delivered (+2.1%), while BMW Motorrad achieved its best year with 210,408 motorcycles and scooters sold (+0.6%). MINI’s overall sales declined by 17.1%, though BEV sales nearly doubled in Q4. Rolls-Royce delivered 5,712 vehicles, reflecting a slight annual decline (-5.3%) despite strong Q4 growth (+17.9%).
The BMW Group remains optimistic for 2025, focusing on its expanding BEV lineup and maintaining its leadership in premium vehicle segments globally.
