Audi delivered approximately 1.7 million vehicles worldwide in 2024, a decline of 11.8% from 2023, reflecting challenging global conditions, including economic stagnation, intense market competition, and supply chain constraints.
Fully electric vehicle deliveries totaled 164,000 (–8%), with the Audi Q4 e-tron leading at nearly 108,000 units. The newly launched Audi Q6 e-tron recorded 15,000 deliveries since its late-year debut.

Key regions experienced mixed results:
- Germany: Deliveries dropped to 198,000 (–21%), including a sharp decline in electric vehicles (–33%).
- Europe (ex-Germany): Audi sold 466,000 units (–6%), with EV sales growing by 6% to 81,000 units.
- North America: Sales reached 241,000 (–13%), including 29,000 electric vehicles (–6%).
- China: The largest single market saw a 11% decline, with 649,000 units sold.
- Overseas and emerging markets: Sales fell to 116,000 (–18%).
Popular models included the Audi Q5 (298,000 units), Audi A6 (244,000 units), and Audi Q3 (215,000 units). Audi Sport delivered 41,000 high-performance cars, with a 4% increase in the U.S. (9,000 units).
CEO Gernot Döllner highlighted 2024 as a transitional phase, with Audi introducing over 20 new models between 2024 and 2025. Notable launches included the Audi Q6 e-tron and Audi A6 e-tron, alongside updates to the combustion-engine lineup. Looking forward, Audi aims to rejuvenate its portfolio with new models like the Audi A7, Audi Q3, and additional plug-in hybrids to bolster its three-pronged strategy of electric, hybrid, and combustion vehicles.
