Porsche AG delivered 310,718 vehicles globally in 2024, reflecting a slight 3% decline compared to the previous year. Despite challenging conditions, the sports car manufacturer achieved growth in four out of five world regions and increased the share of electrified vehicles to 27%, with nearly half being fully electric.
The new all-electric Macan launched in September and quickly gained traction, with 18,278 units delivered by year-end. Combined with the combustion-engined Macan, the model accounted for 82,795 deliveries. The iconic 911 sports car also saw continued success, with a 2% increase in sales to 50,941 units.

Regional highlights included an 11% increase in Germany (35,858 cars) and an 8% rise in Europe, excluding Germany (75,899 cars). North America remained Porsche’s largest market with 86,541 deliveries, up 1%. However, sales in China fell by 28% to 56,887 units, reflecting the region’s challenging economic climate.
While the Taycan faced a 49% decline due to a model change, the Cayenne emerged as Porsche’s bestseller, with 102,889 deliveries, an 18% increase. The Panamera saw a 13% decline, attributed largely to reduced demand in China.
Looking ahead, Porsche’s youngest-ever product range positions the company for further growth in 2025, despite expected economic and geopolitical challenges. Detlev von Platen, Porsche’s Executive Board Member for Sales and Marketing, emphasized the brand’s commitment to value-based sales and global market expansion.
Porsche’s enduring appeal, coupled with its push for electrification, solidifies its role as a leader in the premium sports car market.
