Opel is the first German automaker to offer battery-electric versions of every model, reinforcing its leadership in the electrification movement. The new Frontera Electric, a family-friendly SUV seating up to seven with a 1,600-liter cargo capacity, is positioned as an affordable entry into electric mobility.
Meanwhile, the Grandland, Opel’s flagship SUV, debuts the STLA Medium platform, boasting innovations like adaptive Intelli-Lux HD lighting and sustainable materials, reducing its carbon footprint. The stylish Mokka receives interior upgrades and next-gen infotainment, including intelligent ChatGPT functionality, catering to compact SUV buyers.
Opel’s electrified offerings extend beyond SUVs. The Corsa Electric remains Germany’s best-selling small car and leads the battery-electric segment in the UK, while the Astra Sports Tourer Electric continues to dominate its class as the only fully electric estate from a German manufacturer. Opel’s light commercial lineup, led by the Vivaro Electric, solidifies its presence in the EV market.
With a diverse portfolio and ambitious plans, Opel is driving innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry. The Brussels Motor Show runs until January 19, offering visitors an opportunity to experience Opel’s cutting-edge technologies.
