The Opel Corsa has retained its title as Germany’s best-selling small car in 2024, achieving 43,467 new registrations, according to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).
This marks the fourth consecutive year the Corsa has led the segment, underscoring its blend of advanced technology and affordability.

A staple since 1982 with over 14.6 million units sold globally, the Corsa continues to innovate with features like Intelli-Lux Matrix Lights and driver assistance systems.
Its electric variant, the Corsa Electric, offers accessible electromobility in Germany with a starting price under €30,000.
“The Opel Corsa remains our bestseller and a key model in our portfolio,” said Patrick Dinger, head of Opel Germany. “The Corsa Electric was also our most registered electric vehicle last year, solidifying its role in driving our success.”
Opel’s strong year extended to the Astra, which saw around 47,600 new registrations in 2024, a near 90% increase from the previous year.
