Honda has unveiled the Honda 0 Series at CES 2025, showcasing two prototype EVs—the Honda 0 SUV and Honda 0 Saloon—slated for production in 2026 at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio.
These models mark a bold step forward in EV innovation, incorporating cutting-edge technology, advanced energy services, and Honda’s proprietary ASIMO OS for a highly personalized mobility experience.

Key Features of the Honda 0 Series
0 SUV and 0 Saloon Prototypes
- Honda 0 SUV: A spacious, mid-size EV with a “Thin, Light, and Wise” design, emphasizing flexibility, visibility, and advanced digital user experiences. Equipped with steer-by-wire for enhanced handling.
- Honda 0 Saloon: A low-profile, sporty flagship model with wedge-shaped styling, combining bold exterior design with a surprisingly spacious interior.
Both models will feature Level 3 (eyes-off) automated driving, “ultra-personal optimization” through ASIMO OS, and a seamless blend of performance and sustainability. Production begins in North America in 2026, followed by global markets.
ASIMO Operating System (OS)
Honda’s in-house ASIMO OS, named after its iconic humanoid robot, manages vehicle systems, offering integrated, continuously updated software for advanced driver assistance, infotainment, and personalized digital experiences. OTA updates will enable tailored functionality and optimized performance.
Automated Driving Leadership
Honda builds on its success as the first automaker to deploy Level 3 automated driving technology, with a goal to expand “eyes-off” capabilities to a wider range of conditions. Using AI technologies, Honda aims to achieve zero collision fatalities and offer a safe, reliable driving experience.
Energy Services
Honda’s Home Energy Management System will enhance EV charging efficiency and reduce environmental impact. By 2030, Honda 0 Series owners will have access to 100,000 charging stations through partnerships like IONNA, while services like Honda Smart Charge will optimize electricity use at home, allowing vehicles to serve as virtual power plants (VPPs) and even generate income for owners.
Next-Generation Technology
Honda and Renesas Electronics are co-developing a high-performance system-on-chip (SoC) for next-gen 0 Series models, enabling centralized control of vehicle systems with industry-leading AI performance.
