Starting Q1 2025, Hyundai EV owners who purchased or leased their vehicles by January 31, 2025, can request a free NACS adapter via the MyHyundai portal.
These adapters will allow CCS-equipped Hyundai EVs, including models such as the KONA Electric, IONIQ 5, and IONIQ 6, to access over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S.

“This initiative aims to make fast-charging more convenient for current and future EV drivers,” said Olabisi Boyle, Hyundai Motor North America’s SVP for product planning and mobility strategy. New models like the IONIQ 9 will also feature NACS ports for streamlined charging.
Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury brand, will join the program, with details to follow in 2024. Further instructions on claiming the adapters will be announced next year.
Hyundai, committed to its “Progress for Humanity” vision, continues to strengthen its U.S. operations, contributing significantly to the economy and expanding its electrified vehicle lineup.
