DS Automobiles has introduced its new flagship, the DS N°8, a 100% electric SUV coupé that combines French elegance, cutting-edge technology, and remarkable efficiency.
Inspired by the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept, the vehicle boasts an extended range of up to 750 km (WLTP) and over 500 km on motorways, made possible by exceptional aerodynamics (Cx of 0.24).

Design and Performance
The DS N°8 features a sleek and aerodynamic design, accentuated by its DS LUMINASCREEN illuminated grille, slim LED headlamps, and distinctive “Lightblade” lighting. The extended duo-tone paintwork offers a nod to classic French coachbuilding. Its body has been engineered for aero-efficiency, with features like controlled air intakes and optimized wheel designs to maximize range.
Powered by Stellantis Group’s STLA Medium platform, the DS N°8 offers three electric powertrain options:
- 230 hp with 572 km range (FWD)
- 245 hp with 750 km range (FWD LONG RANGE)
- 350 hp with 686 km range (AWD LONG RANGE)
With rapid charging capabilities, the DS N°8 can recover 200 km of range in just 10 minutes using DC fast charging.
Innovative Interior and Comfort
Inside, the DS N°8 redefines luxury with its French Art of Travel philosophy. It features a spacious, tech-driven cockpit with a 16-inch customizable touchscreen, Nappa leather upholstery, and ambient lighting inspired by starlit skies. The X-shaped steering wheel, heated and massaging seats, and an advanced sound system by Focal elevate the experience.
Occupants are welcomed with flush-fitting powered door handles and a serene cabin equipped with laminated glass for superior soundproofing. The SUV offers a generous 620 liters of boot space, making it ideal for long journeys.
Technology and Safety
Equipped with DS IRIS SYSTEM 2.0, the SUV supports voice control, navigation, and connected services. Notably, it incorporates ChatGPT for advanced natural language interactions. Safety is enhanced through features like DS NIGHT VISION, active lane assist, and DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0, which offers semi-autonomous driving with predictive cruise control and lane change assist.
Sustainability and Craftsmanship
The DS N°8 employs eco-conscious materials, including recycled Alcantara® and chrome-free finishes, and offers battery cells made in France. It also utilizes a heat pump and regenerative braking to optimize energy use.
