A Global Test Track Experience
A standout feature of the Shimoyama facility is its unique test track, operational since 2021, which replicates road conditions from around the world. The western section of the track supports high-speed testing and challenges chassis systems with varied terrains, while the central area includes specialized off-road tracks. This comprehensive setup has been instrumental in refining key models such as the hybrid Lexus LBX, the popular NX SUV, and the all-electric Lexus RZ.
