Lamborghini is celebrating a historic milestone in motorsport by displaying the championship-winning #92 SSR Performance Huracán GT3 EVO2 in its Sant’ Agata Bolognese Museum.
The car, which secured Mirko Bortolotti’s maiden DTM drivers’ title, will join a lineup of iconic Lamborghini models, including the first-generation Huracán EVO that achieved a groundbreaking victory at the 2018 Daytona 24-Hour race, also driven by Bortolotti.

The DTM-winning car was officially handed over to the museum on December 10 during a ceremony attended by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Federico Foschini, Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr, and factory driver Mirko Bortolotti.
Reflecting on Lamborghini’s journey in DTM, Winkelmann emphasized the significance of their entry into the series just three years ago. “Since our first season, we have grown as a brand and gained invaluable experience. This season’s ultimate reward is a testament to the hard work of SSR Performance and Lamborghini Squadra Corse,” he said.
Mirko Bortolotti’s title marked the first time since 1993 that an Italian driver and brand have claimed the DTM championship. Over the course of Lamborghini’s fourth full DTM season and second with SSR Performance, the Huracán GT3 EVO2 delivered outstanding results, including nine wins, nine poles, and 28 podium finishes.
Rouven Mohr praised the collaboration with SSR Performance as integral to the success. “Consistency, performance, and teamwork were key,” he said, acknowledging Bortolotti’s role as a factory driver whose professionalism and steady performance made the championship victory possible.
Bortolotti’s 2024 campaign included four wins, three pole positions, and consistent points finishes in every race, culminating in his title triumph at Hockenheim. His contributions also helped Lamborghini secure second place in the manufacturers’ standings.
The addition of the championship-winning car to the Lamborghini Museum commemorates not only this historic DTM season but also the enduring partnership between Lamborghini and SSR Performance, highlighting the brand’s commitment to excellence both on and off the track.
