Toyota Certified Used Vehicles (TCUV) marked a historic milestone with its 8 millionth sale—a 2024 Toyota Camry in Supersonic Red, sold by Sheehy Toyota of Laurel.
To commemorate the achievement, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) and Carfax gifted the lucky customer a full refund for their purchase and made a $10,000 donation in their name to Active Minds, a nonprofit championing mental health awareness for young adults.

“It’s an honor to be part of this milestone,” said Chris Prender, general manager at Sheehy Toyota, highlighting Toyota’s reputation for quality and reliability.
TCUV, launched in 1996, has been the nation’s top certified pre-owned vehicle program for 16 consecutive years.
Vehicles undergo a rigorous 160-point inspection to earn the Gold Certified designation, which includes comprehensive warranties and roadside assistance. A new Silver Certification, introduced this year, expands options for vehicles up to 10 years old.
The celebration underscores Toyota’s ongoing commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community impact.
