DS Automobiles has been awarded the prestigious SMARTBEST 2025 accolade by the AUTOBEST jury, recognizing its groundbreaking integration of ChatGPT into its DS IRIS SYSTEM. This innovation makes DS Automobiles the first manufacturer worldwide to include generative AI as a standard feature across all its models.
The AUTOBEST jury, comprising 31 members from 31 European countries, praised DS Automobiles for its technological vision and customer-focused approach. The DS IRIS SYSTEM, an ergonomic and personalized information ecosystem, now includes ChatGPT to deliver seamless, intuitive, and immersive travel experiences.

Recognized Innovation
The SMARTBEST 2025 award follows earlier accolades for DS Automobiles’ AI initiatives, including the “Pioneer Award” from Auto Bild and Computer Bild in 2023 and a bronze innovation award from Auto Moto in October.
The ChatGPT-enabled DS IRIS SYSTEM is currently available in models such as the DS 3, DS 4, and DS 7, and will soon debut in the new DS N°8 flagship. Offered as part of the Connect Plus Pack, the feature enhances connected navigation, remote controls, and EV trip planning, available standard for three years on all models.
This achievement solidifies DS Automobiles’ reputation as a leader in automotive innovation, setting a benchmark for AI-driven experiences in the industry.
