The Temerario, unveiled at Monterey Car Week 2024, redefines the driving experience by offering 13 versatile driving modes, each tailored for road or track performance.
The driving modes are selectable via rotary switches on the steering wheel, giving drivers quick access to settings that range from daily comfort to full-throttle track experiences.
On the left, the red-rimmed rotary switch lets drivers select between Città, Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Corsa ESC Off, while a “checkered flag” button enables Launch Control for rapid acceleration from a standstill.

Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer at Automobili Lamborghini, describes Temerario’s unique appeal as a blend of high-precision handling with a dynamic rear-wheel drive feel, ensuring a responsive and engaging experience.
In addition to the conventional modes, three new modes—Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance—are accessible via the upper right rotary switch. These new hybrid-focused settings appear on the 12.3-inch digital dashboard, with animated graphics that visually reinforce the selector’s rotation.
Driving Modes Overview:
- Città: Designed for urban driving, Città can operate in Hybrid (fully electric) mode, offering 140 kW (190 CV) of power, or in Recharge mode, where the V8 recharges the battery as needed.
- Strada: Optimized for highways and long-distance travel, Strada balances sporty yet efficient driving. The system engages AWD as required, offering up to 800 CV in Hybrid mode and 725 CV in Recharge mode, with the front e-axle providing torque vectoring and added stability.
- Sport: In Sport mode, Temerario transforms into a responsive and thrilling drive, with the V8 and hybrid systems delivering up to 920 CV. This mode enhances exhaust sound, quickens gearbox response, and adjusts suspension and aerodynamics for agile cornering.
- Corsa: Corsa mode maximizes the Temerario’s power, delivering 920 CV in Performance mode, emphasizing its track capabilities. The hybrid system optimizes torque vectoring and AWD for an ultra-sporty experience, while the sound reaches its most intense, creating an immersive auditory sensation.
New Drift Mode:
A first for Lamborghini, Drift Mode allows controlled oversteer for pure driving enjoyment, activated via a lower right rotary switch. Drift Mode offers three levels, from moderate oversteer to a wide yaw angle for expert drivers seeking advanced control.
With this range of configurations, the Temerario offers a driving experience that’s adaptable, exhilarating, and tuned for the specific needs of any journey or track event, merging zero-emissions capability with peak performance.
