FIAT has launched Bio-Hybrid technology in its Pulse and Fastback SUVs in Brazil, reinforcing its leadership in the country’s auto market with a focus on cleaner, accessible mobility.
Developed at Stellantis’ Betim center, the Bio-Hybrid system integrates electric and hybrid engines using ethanol, significantly cutting emissions and fuel consumption.

The new T200 Hybrid engine, a 1.0-liter turbo with a seven-speed CVT, produces 130 horsepower and boasts a fuel efficiency improvement of up to 11.5%.
Supported by two batteries, FIAT’s innovative system provides supplemental torque, reducing fuel usage and optimizing energy through four operational modes, including regenerative braking and enhanced acceleration.
