Bentley Motors has extended its ambitious Beyond100 strategy to 2035, now dubbed Beyond100+, signaling a new phase focused on achieving a fully electric lineup within the next decade.
As part of this expanded vision, Bentley’s first all-electric model, due in 2026, will debut as the world’s first true Luxury Urban SUV, pioneering a new segment in the market.
This model will kickstart a series of new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) or battery electric vehicle (BEV) launches, with Bentley promising a fresh PHEV or BEV model each year until 2035.
While Bentley plans to phase out combustion engines by 2035, it will continue offering PHEV options until then, reinforcing its position as a leader in the luxury hybrid sector. Following the retirement of the W12 engine, Bentley’s Continental GT, Convertible, and Flying Spur models are now exclusively available with advanced plug-in V8 hybrid powertrains.
CEO Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser highlighted this transformation as part of Bentley’s commitment to a decarbonized future, with an emphasis on maintaining its legacy of luxury craftsmanship.
Beyond100+ also accelerates investment in Bentley’s Crewe headquarters, evolving it into a “Dream Factory” equipped for an electric future. This self-funded modernization includes an advanced Design Centre, Paint Shop, and BEV assembly line, setting a new standard for sustainable, flexible, and high-value manufacturing.
As Bentley builds toward its electrified future, Beyond100+ underscores its commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, securing Bentley’s legacy as a premier luxury brand for the next generation.
