Nikola Corporation (Nasdaq: NKLA) shared its latest quarterly financial results and updates, marking strong progress in zero-emission transportation and energy solutions under its HYLA brand.
Nikola’s CEO, Steve Girsky, highlighted the company’s record growth in hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks (FCEVs), with a 78% rise in FCEV adoption year-to-date and a nearly 350% increase in hydrogen dispensed across its stations.
Additionally, Nikola returned 78 enhanced BEV “2.0” trucks to fleets, reinforcing the company’s impact on sustainable Class 8 transportation.

In the quarter, Nikola delivered 88 FCEVs to dealers, a 22% increase over the prior quarter, with major partners like DHL Supply Chain and Kenan Advantage Group actively deploying Nikola trucks to meet sustainability goals.
The expansion of Nikola’s dealer network also continued with GTS Group’s new “Next Generation Truck” division in Southern California, bringing Nikola’s U.S. sales and service locations to 19.
In HYLA Energy, Nikola’s fueling network has dispensed over 210 metric tons of hydrogen through 5,900 events, reflecting significant year-to-date growth in mobile hydrogen refueling. The company is on track to launch 10 new HYLA fueling solutions by the end of 2024.
The BEV “2.0” trucks, returned to service with positive fleet feedback, have accumulated over 715,000 miles, bolstering Nikola’s position in battery-electric trucking and fleet sustainability.
