Hyundai Motor America and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) recently held their third child passenger safety event, continuing their partnership that began in 2022.
Over the course of their collaboration, they have provided more than 1,400 car seats to families in need. To further their efforts, Hyundai is donating an additional $50,000, which will fund around 600 car seats for CHOP’s Child Safety Seat Program.

During the event, certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST) educated parents and caregivers on the proper installation and use of car seats, while also conducting safety inspections to check for recalls, expiration dates, and proper fit.
Families in need were given replacement car seats to ensure their children’s safety on the road.
Cole Stutz, Hyundai’s chief safety officer, emphasized the company’s dedication to safety both within and beyond their vehicles. “We are proud to continue promoting child passenger safety and equipping families with the resources they need to protect their children on the road,” said Stutz.
CHOP’s injury prevention manager, Gina Duchossois, expressed gratitude for Hyundai’s support, noting that the collaboration helps provide car seats and empowers families with the knowledge needed for proper usage during every ride.
This initiative is part of Hyundai Hope, the company’s corporate social responsibility program that focuses on enhancing the well-being of communities through health and safety initiatives. For more information, visit www.HyundaiHope.com.
