Hyundai has officially unveiled the all-new 2026 Palisade, bringing bold styling, upgraded powertrains, and groundbreaking in-car technology to its flagship three-row SUV.
Debuting at the New York International Auto Show, the redesigned Palisade promises a smarter, more capable, and more refined driving experience, tailored to modern families and adventurers alike.

Powerful New Hybrid and Off-Road Options
A key highlight is the introduction of a 2.5-liter turbocharged hybrid system producing up to 329 horsepower with a projected range of up to 619 miles. It joins the standard 3.5-liter V6, delivering an estimated 287 hp and up to 5,000 lbs. towing capacity.
For more rugged terrain, the new XRT PRO trim offers serious off-road hardware, including all-terrain tires, increased ground clearance, an electronic limited-slip differential, and exclusive canyon red recovery hooks.
Upscale Design and Roomier Cabin
The 2026 Palisade wears a bold new look featuring vertical LED lighting, a larger grille with active airflow shutters, and an upright stance that boosts presence and efficiency (with an impressive 0.31 drag coefficient). It’s longer overall, with an extended wheelbase and larger windows to increase third-row light and space.
Inside, the cabin exudes premium quality with soft-touch surfaces, a curved dual 12.3-inch display, and a wireless charging pad with cooling fan.
An available Bose® 14-speaker audio system and Relaxation Seats in the first and second rows elevate comfort. Seating for up to eight is standard, with available power-folding and heated third-row seats, while every row now includes USB-C ports capable of 100-watt charging.
Tech and Safety Firsts
Hyundai’s suite of advanced safety and convenience features hits a new level. A built-in dual-camera dash cam can record continuously while driving or when movement is detected while parked. An Advanced Rear Occupant Alert uses sensors to detect movement in the rear seats, sounding alarms or pushing smartphone alerts via Bluelink.
Other standout safety tech includes:
- Ten airbags, including third-row seatbelt pretensioners
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with intersection and cyclist detection
- Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Safe Exit Assist

Convenience gets a boost with Digital Key 2.0, allowing smartphones and smartwatches to unlock and start the vehicle, and Hyundai Pay®, enabling secure in-car payments at gas stations and parking facilities. OTA updates and Wi-Fi hotspot capability with Alexa integration keep the Palisade connected and future-ready.
XRT PRO: Trail-Ready Tech and Toughness
The all-new XRT PRO model brings Hyundai’s most off-road-capable setup yet:
- 8.4 inches of ground clearance (+1 inch)
- Improved approach/departure/breakover angles
- Real-time off-road displays (pitch, roll, compass, elevation)
- Downhill Brake Control, terrain modes, and OEM tow hitch
- Rugged styling with exclusive 18-inch wheels, blacked-out accents, and functional design upgrades
Customization and Availability
Buyers can personalize their 2026 Palisade with 10 exterior colors and a wide selection of interior materials including leatherette, leather, and Nappa leather in varied hues. XRT trims feature unique materials mimicking natural terrain textures.
Built in Ulsan, South Korea, the ICE versions arrive summer 2025, with hybrid models following in early fall. Hyundai’s upgraded Bluelink® system is included, offering expanded remote controls and connected services.
