Honda has unveiled the 2026 Passport, reimagined with a bold, rugged design and packed with off-road capability. Leading the lineup, the Passport TrailSport is Honda’s most off-road-ready SUV yet, featuring increased ground clearance, specialized suspension, all-terrain tires, and the new TrailWatch™ camera system.
The Passport is built for adventure with more passenger and cargo space than its competitors, while the TrailSport Elite trim adds top-tier features and off-road capabilities.

Designed with a “Born Wild” concept, the new Passport is strikingly robust, with a strong front grille, flared fenders, and larger 18-inch wheels. Its adventure-ready design includes hidden exhaust tips and durable steel skid plates for trail protection.
The Passport’s enhanced 3.5-liter V6 engine delivers 285 hp and is paired with Honda’s refined 10-speed automatic transmission, optimizing both power and fuel efficiency. The advanced i-VTM4™ all-wheel drive system improves traction and response, making the Passport adaptable to various terrains.
Inside, the cabin is spacious and tech-enhanced, featuring a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™.
Rear seat legroom is expanded, and cargo space now accommodates larger items, like full-size mountain bikes. Premium materials, a topographic map design on the dashboard, and options like leather upholstery and ventilated seats bring a blend of rugged durability and comfort.
In terms of safety, the 2026 Passport includes Honda’s enhanced suite of driver-assistive technologies, a wider-angle camera, and advanced airbags to boost occupant protection.
Hill Descent Control, adaptive cruise control, and expanded blind-spot monitoring contribute to a safer driving experience. For off-road use, the TrailSport models come with General Grabber all-terrain tires and patented recovery hooks designed for maximum durability.
Launching in early 2026 with prices starting in the mid-$40,000s, the Passport is available in three trims: RTL, TrailSport, and TrailSport Elite. Honda’s broadest range of accessories to date allows drivers to further enhance the Passport with options like rock sliders, cargo roof platforms, and a stowable picnic table, emphasizing its versatility for both everyday and adventure-driven use.
