GMC has officially pulled the wraps off the 2026 Sierra EV, expanding the electric truck lineup with new trims, more battery options, and upgraded features aimed at offering customers broader choices across performance, luxury, and off-road capabilities.
The Elevation and AT4 trims now join the high-end Denali, rounding out a full lineup that starts at $64,495 including destination fees.
Buyers can choose from three battery configurations—Standard, Extended, and Max Range—depending on the trim. Elevation models will offer Standard and Extended, AT4 comes with Extended and Max, while Denali gets all three.

GMC hasn’t shared specific range estimates yet, but details are expected closer to the vehicle’s launch this summer.
Designed to hit the sweet spot of the premium EV truck market, the Sierra EV lineup reflects GMC’s most popular Sierra trims, which make up over two-thirds of Sierra’s light-duty sales.
Jaclyn McQuaid, GM’s global VP of Buick and GMC, emphasized the combination of electric performance with real truck capabilities, promising high-tech features, durability, and choice.
The off-road-focused Sierra EV AT4 stands out with 35-inch all-terrain tires, a lifted suspension, and the exclusive Terrain Mode, offering one-pedal driving and enhanced control off-road.
Other highlights include 2 inches of extra ground clearance, 4-Wheel Steer with CrabWalk, Super Cruise hands-free tech, a Forest Storm interior, and up to 12,300 pounds of towing. The AT4 also supports 800V DC fast charging (up to 100 miles in 10 minutes) and offers up to 10.2kW of off-board power with 240V/120V outlets in the bed.
The Elevation trim brings a clean, bold design with an 18-inch wheel setup, 16.8-inch touchscreen, eTrunk with power hood, and features like MultiPro Tailgate and optional MidGate for extra bed space. It’s also available with Super Cruise and a 7.2kW off-boarding power system, plus 800V fast charging up to 300kW.
At the top of the range, the Denali trim continues to offer premium touches like two interior design choices, heated and ventilated seats, and a fixed panoramic glass roof. Available features include 4-Wheel Steer, Adaptive Air Ride Suspension, and Super Cruise. With access to all three battery ranges, the Denali can be tailored for maximum comfort, power, or range.
GMC has also expanded exterior color options with new additions like Glacier White Tri-Coat, Deep Bronze Metallic, and Magnus Matte. The Elevation will start at $64,495, the Denali at $71,795, and the AT4 at $81,395—all prices including destination charges.
On the specs side, the Sierra EV lineup is powered by dual motors with electronic four-wheel drive, delivering up to 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque depending on configuration. Denali Max Range models top the charts, while all variants support regenerative braking and advanced suspension systems. Max towing sits at 12,500 pounds for Elevation and Denali, with the AT4 slightly lower at 12,300.
Interior space is generous across the board with nearly 45 inches of legroom front and back, and cargo versatility enhanced by the MidGate and 11 cu. ft. eTrunk. Battery warranties are set at 8 years or 100,000 miles.
The 2026 GMC Sierra EV arrives at dealerships this summer, marking another step in GM’s broader electrification push across its brands.
