Toyota’s 2025 Sienna debuts an Advanced Rear Seat Reminder system using millimeter-wave radar to detect movement in the second and third-row seats.
The system alerts drivers through escalating warnings, starting with flashing hazard lights and door chimes, followed by a horn if movement continues.

Registered users of the Toyota app can also receive push notifications, SMS alerts, and automated phone calls.
Unlike traditional systems, Toyota’s radar can detect movement under blankets and performs well in low light.
This feature offers app-based alerts for up to 10 years, reinforcing Toyota’s commitment to safety and customer support.
