The Nissan Murano has been in need of an update, and the 2025 model is expected to bring fresh changes.
While details remain scarce, it’s likely that the new Murano will retain its sleek, luxury-leaning design, possibly adopting styling cues from the all-electric Ariya.

This could include the Ariya’s spread-wing front lighting, though it will need a larger grille for the Murano’s internal combustion engine. Expect similar side detailing with complex curves, a fancy D-pillar, and full-width taillights.
Under the hood, the new Murano will likely stick with Nissan’s 3.5-liter V-6 engine, possibly with the 295-hp version from the Pathfinder’s Rock Creek edition. A switch from the current CVT to a nine-speed automatic transmission, as seen in the Pathfinder, is anticipated.
While hybrid options might arrive in future models, electrification isn’t expected at launch.
The 2025 Murano is likely to debut by late 2024 with an estimated starting price of $38,000.
