The legendary Bronco Stroppe name is returning to the Ford lineup for 2025 with the launch of the Bronco Stroppe Special Edition, paying homage to the iconic Baja-winning Broncos from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
This limited-edition Bronco captures the desert-racing spirit of Bill Stroppe’s original Baja Bronco while integrating modern off-road performance and capability.

Equipped with Fox Internal Bypass Dampers, a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, and Baja G.O.A.T. Mode, the two-door Bronco Stroppe Special Edition is designed for high-speed desert runs.
It features a High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS 3.0), 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, and a Stabilizer Bar Disconnect, offering top-tier off-road prowess.
The Bronco Stroppe Special Edition showcases a modern interpretation of the original Stroppe Baja livery with Code Orange, Oxford White, and Atlas Blue accents, and a functional matte black hood to reduce sun glare.
Additional design highlights include a Frozen White grille with a Code Orange “Bronco” wordmark, unique removable side steps with integrated rock rails, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels.
Inside, the cabin features a white instrument mid-panel, Code Orange accents, and a Stroppe Special Edition badge on the center console. The Bronco’s G.O.A.T. Mode dial, grab handles, and contrast stitching all feature Code Orange detailing.
The Stroppe legacy began in the late 1960s when Bill Stroppe built winning off-road Broncos, culminating in the iconic 1969 Baja 1000 win by a stock 4×4 Bronco. The 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition honors this history, continuing the legacy that made Bronco an off-road powerhouse.
The new edition, unveiled to Stroppe’s son Willie Stroppe and Ford’s heritage brand manager Ted Ryan in 2024, connects Bronco’s past with its cutting-edge present.
