The first retail production 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, VIN 001, sold for an impressive $3.7 million at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction on Saturday, January 25.

All proceeds from this record-tying sale were donated to the American Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts for those impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton, as well as to aid victims of wildfires, storms, and other crises.

Rick Hendrick, founder and CEO of Hendrick Companies, placed the winning bid after Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder introduced the 1,064-horsepower ZR1 as Chevrolet’s fastest, most powerful Corvette yet.
