The first retail production 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, VIN 001, sold for an impressive $3.7 million at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction on Saturday, January 25.
All proceeds from this record-tying sale were donated to the American Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts for those impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton, as well as to aid victims of wildfires, storms, and other crises.

This $3.7 million sale matches the record for the highest charity vehicle auction donation at Barrett-Jackson, previously set in 2022 by the first retail 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition.
Rick Hendrick, founder and CEO of Hendrick Companies, placed the winning bid after Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder introduced the 1,064-horsepower ZR1 as Chevrolet’s fastest, most powerful Corvette yet.
Chevrolet’s partnership with Barrett-Jackson has raised millions for charity over the years, with the sale of eighth-generation Corvettes alone generating $12.9 million. The funds from this auction will help the Red Cross provide vital relief and support for families and communities in need.
Cliff Holtz, president and CEO of the American Red Cross, expressed gratitude for Chevrolet’s continued support, stating, “This generosity enables us to deliver critical relief during disasters both large and small.”
Craig Jackson, Barrett-Jackson’s chairman and CEO, echoed the sentiment, highlighting Chevrolet’s history of auctioning its most iconic vehicles for charity.
