2025 Chevrolet Trax: What’s New
Chevrolet’s most budget-friendly SUV, the 2025 Trax, receives a noteworthy update this year. It’s now equipped with the ability to run on both regular gasoline and E85 fuel, thanks to new hardware and software enhancements. Alongside this functional upgrade, the Trax also introduces two new exterior color options: Marina Blue Metallic and Cypress Gray.
2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer: What’s New
The Trailblazer, a subcompact SUV that shares its engine with the Trax, now also supports Flex Fuel. The 1.2-liter turbocharged inline three-cylinder engine is capable of running on regular gas and E85, potentially unlocking more power with the ethanol blend. The only other update for 2025 is the addition of Marina Blue Metallic to the exterior color choices.

2025 Chevrolet Equinox: Redesigned
Chevrolet’s best-selling model, the Equinox, enters a new generation for 2025. The redesigned Equinox is wider than its predecessor and features all-LED lighting with unique fascia treatments for each trim. Powertrain updates include a new CVT for FWD models and an eight-speed automatic for AWD versions, although torque slightly decreases for the FWD model. Interior upgrades are significant, with a new 11.3-inch touchscreen, an 11.0-inch gauge cluster, and the relocation of the gearshift to the steering column for better space utilization. The RS and new Activ trims now feature a drive mode selector, while the LS and Premier trims have been discontinued.
2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV: Minor Updates
The 2025 Equinox EV sees minor but meaningful upgrades in its second model year. Both the FWD and AWD versions get slight increases in horsepower and torque. New standard features include a head-up display and rear camera mirror for LT and RS models. Additionally, a new, more affordable LT base model has been added to the lineup.
2025 Chevrolet Blazer: Cosmetic Enhancements
The 2025 Blazer receives mainly cosmetic updates, with new exterior paint options like Habanero Orange and an optional Iridescent Pearl Tricoat for the Redline Edition. While the Blazer remains largely unchanged since its 2019 debut, a full redesign is expected in the next couple of years.
2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV: Package Adjustments
After a major debut last year, the Blazer EV sees modest updates for 2025. Some packages that were previously standard on AWD models, such as the Comfort and Convenience package for LT AWD and the Convenience and Driver Confidence package for RS AWD, are now optional. Additionally, the dual-level charge cord is no longer standard but available for $295.
2025 Chevrolet Traverse: Continuation of Second Generation
With its second-generation debut in 2024, the 2025 Traverse carries over without significant changes. It continues to impress with its large touchscreen and a design that echoes the more substantial Tahoe.
2025 Chevrolet Tahoe: Significant Refresh
The 2025 Tahoe undergoes a substantial refresh, featuring new front and rear fascias, updated 24-inch wheel designs, and animated exterior lighting. The 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six engine has been upgraded to deliver 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque, addressing some of the ride issues noted in previous models. Inside, the Tahoe now includes a massive 17.7-inch touchscreen and an 11.0-inch gauge cluster. The new Connected Camera feature allows remote monitoring via a smartphone app.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban: Major Updates
The 2025 Suburban mirrors the Tahoe’s significant updates. It features the same enhanced Duramax engine, suspension improvements, and new wheel options up to 24 inches. The refreshed exterior includes revised front and rear fascias, along with new paint options. Interior upgrades include an 11.0-inch gauge cluster and a 17.7-inch touchscreen, as well as the Connected Camera feature for remote monitoring.
Future of the Chevrolet Bolt SUV
As GM prepares for the next generation of the Bolt, it’s expected that the model will shift from its previous hatchback and SUV variants to focus exclusively on an SUV format. Built on the Ultium platform, the new Bolt is likely to offer improved range and greater practicality, though specific details remain under wraps.
