The Jeep brand is making a bold entrance into the electric vehicle market with the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S, its first global battery-electric vehicle (BEV).
Scheduled to launch in the U.S. and Canada in fall 2024, this all-electric SUV combines Jeep’s renowned 4xe capability with impressive performance, state-of-the-art technology, and a sleek, aerodynamic design.

The Wagoneer S boasts remarkable performance with 600 horsepower and 617 lb.-ft. of torque, enabling a rapid 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.4 seconds. With a range exceeding 300 miles on a single charge, this BEV ensures both power and efficiency. The exclusive Selec-Terrain traction management system offers five drive modes—Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow, and Sand—ensuring optimal traction across diverse driving conditions.
Design and Features
The Wagoneer S Launch Edition, debuting first, features a reimagined seven-slot illuminated grille, elegant black accents, 20-inch wheels, and a standard dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The vehicle’s aerodynamic design, achieving a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.29, is enhanced by thoughtful elements like flush pocket door handles and an integrated rear spoiler.
Interior and Technology
Inside, the Wagoneer S impresses with 45 inches of usable screen space, the most among EVs, and a segment-exclusive interactive front passenger screen. The premium interior includes heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and a 19-speaker, 1,200-watt McIntosh audio system. The high-tech cabin features modern controls and interfaces, highlighted by a 12.3-inch center display and a 10.25-inch front interactive passenger display connected to the Uconnect 5 system.
Charging and Efficiency
Equipped with a 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack, the Wagoneer S supports quick charging from 20-80% in just 23 minutes using a DC fast charger. Each vehicle includes a 48-amp Level 2 home charger or public charging credits via Stellantis’ Free2move Charge ecosystem, providing seamless energy management and easy access to charging stations.
Safety and Connectivity
The Wagoneer S includes over 170 standard safety and security features such as Active Driving Assist, Intersection Collision Assist, and Drowsy Driver Detection. It supports over-the-air updates for continuous feature enhancements and offers extensive connectivity through Jeep Connect services. Owners are enrolled in the Jeep Wave loyalty program, providing maintenance, 24/7 support, and additional services.
Pricing and Availability
The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition will be available in the second half of 2024, starting at $71,995 (including destination), and qualifies for EV credits under the Inflation Reduction Act.
