As the year winds down, Polestar reflects on an exhilarating 2024 filled with milestones, innovation, and connection. From snowy adventures in Finland with snowboarder Antti Autti to scenic drives along Scotland’s North Coast 500, our vehicles have explored some of the world’s most stunning landscapes.
In February, we welcomed the Polestar 4 to Europe and Australia, marking its debut as a groundbreaking SUV coupé. Throughout the year, we engaged with customers and journalists alike, showcasing Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 in diverse settings—from frozen lakes in Sweden to Wyoming’s rugged terrain. The feedback affirmed their class-leading performance, design, and sustainability.

Spring brought a groundbreaking achievement: charging a Polestar 5 prototype battery from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes using StoreDot’s cutting-edge battery technology. This milestone highlights our commitment to advancing EV capabilities.
Summer adventures included filming the Gothenburg Marathon, winning the 1000 Miglia Green, and showcasing the Polestar Concept BST at Goodwood Festival of Speed. By August, production of Polestar 3 had begun in the U.S., and Swedish athletes Sarah Sjöström and Armand Duplantis received golden Polestar 4s to celebrate their world championship wins.
In the fall, Polestar 4 starred in the campaign film “Sightings,” while Polestar 3’s dynamic performance impressed journalists in Wyoming. On World EV Day, we championed the growing adoption of electric vehicles, busting myths and sharing positive trends. At COP29, CEO Michael Lohscheller emphasized the urgency of climate action and the importance of collaboration.
